Does a bluetooth headset have to be completely charged for the phone to find the device?

I just got a new cell phone and I’m trying to connect my bluetooth headset to it, but it isn’t recognizing the device… Could this be because it isn’t fully charged? Any help would be great! Thanks!

it doesnt have to be fully charged just charged enough to use. your headset might not be compatible with your phone, or your headset might not be in ‘discoverable’ mode. To make sure it is, i would look up your headset under the manufacturers website and they have instructions on the site on how to make discoverable, hope this helps, good luck.
