It is possible to attack a cell phone with SMS.

The scenario is either that you sleep and have turned off the sound and the hacker attacks your cell phone. By sending an SMS to the targeted cell phone, the internet browser initializes and visits malicious web sites.

Or you have turned off your cell phone because you are in a meeting or sitting in the cinema, and the hacker will use the same method there.

On these web sites your cell phone web browser is directed to, there are various malicious codes that make it possible to open the cell phone for codes from the outside and will be under the attacker’s control.

The reason the attacker chooses these scenarious to send out such an attack is that the cell phone will show what happens on the screen and the owner will have a chance to stop the attack there and then. If the attack happens like we told you now, the probability for being discovered is less to none.

The cyber criminals have not yet caught on to this in major scale.
