What type of material is used for candy/power bar wrapping?

I’m doing a project in school in which we are to make a product, find the total cost it takes to make the product, then sell it out to various places. I would like to know what type of foil is used to wrap candy/power bars. Also, if you know the average ingredients for a power bar that would be great too.

The wrappers are made from food-grade plastic foil (thin colorful plastic with foil fused to one side). You can find the ingredients on the PowerBar website, but the first item on the list for their Performance bars is: “POWERBAR C2 MAX CARBOHYDRATE BLEND (ORGANIC EVAPORATED CANE JUICE SYRUP(i.e sugar), MALTODEXTRIN (i.e. sugar), FRUCTOSE (i.e. sugar), DEXTROSE (i.e. sugar)), Mmmmmmm….sounds healthy, eh?
